You missed my point entirely, Parsiful. What I was alluding to was that homo sapiens have barely changed in physiology, intelligence or instincts since day one of our existence, and in terms of the evolutionary process humans have had no time by which to evolve from true hunter gatherers to the complexities of modern life - and as such, there are many that can't cope. I cite the extreme rise in the suicide statistics in many countries around the world.
So, do you think suicide was prevalent when we lived in caves (on a per capita basis?)
In any case, it's just a theoretical opinion based on observation and personal experience. Doesn't mean I'm right .
