Breeding is the key to having good racehorses, but it is not the key for producing most of the betting revenue.

Betting on horses is a hobby (or addiction) for most people, and I'm sure those regulars are all "chaffing at the bit" to put their dollars on something.

Once the races start again, the betting will continue.

I actually have shares in a Redoute's Choice colt, which is getting prepared for Japan and has been in quarantine there for 2 months of the mandatory 3 months for imported horses. Very happy he has dodged all of this.
