My daughter’s horse enjoys the idea of being with her, jumping rails and being looked after more than being in a can of Pal.
Our chook is locked up for half the day but spends most of her time trying to get into the house when she’s free ranging.
I suspect she prefers the half day lock-in to the idea of being a Sunday roast.
The idea that all animals should be free is a Disney fantasy that only halfwits cling too.
