does this horse appear stressed?
It didn’t cut the mustard as a race horse but the breeder “cross-trains” all of their Track horses to Jump as they understand that not every beast will make it as a successful track horse and this why it is still alive at 12.
We bought it a year ago after the previous owner had tired of owning it.
It wasn’t in great condition, having bad teeth and not being ridden much for a while but $3k of vet/dentist bills and a commitment from my daughter and it’s now worth about double what was paid for it and its personality has blossomed.
Not all but many horses enjoy a bond with their rider’s/people but for some reason those animal activists fail to grasp the reality.
They only look for the negatives and fail to see any worth in other people’s love and respect for animals.
