A single terrestrial/tripod scan outdoors - call it 20 million points in the original data. Depends on scanner and nominated scan resolution. But that will do you for a rough idea. Indoors gets you more - due to points on the roof.

Pointerra no doubt cull some of those points in storage (decimate). Even average it down to 10 million a scan - might give some idea of overall scan count. But you could be out by a factor of 2 easily.

In terms of scan count - single scanner can do north of 100 scans per day. Again, dependent on scan resolutions, photos (y/n).

Mobile scanning is different again. Likewise point clouds generated from photogrammetry. Likewise airborne LIDAR.

Back of the napkin, a single busy'ish scanner produces in the order of 250 billion to 500 billion points per annum. That is a single unit. There are (early tens of?) thousands in AUS alone.
