I have been wondering about the timing of the announcement and hopefully someone can help (I have ZERO accounting B/G).

Does the timing simply reflect NEW information (e.g. month-on- month numbers that had deteriorated since the last confirmation of guidance)? Or does it reflect re-calculation (by new personnel - CFO) based on already known information/figures? The latter would be more concerning for me as would imply incompetence to a degree by current and/or former management. Or is it highly subjective, and therefore there is a 'new spin' on the 'old data'?
