The following post should reassure NKP shareholders that the company has been very active over the past two years in attempting to make NKP into a large platinum producer. Unfortunately it has been the court cases that have created hurdles.

Following up from my review of NKPs Mining Application for the Garatau Mine I can now share the following information for your consideration. Note however that this info ( which includes the EIR and EMP) some dated 2009 and some dated 2010 which has been presented with the Mining Application may have been superceded with more recent updates.


The most important aspect in my findings is that NKP planned to build its infrastructure ( process plant, conveyors, tailings dam etc) on one of the Modikwa farms namely Maandagshoek 254KT. As you know this farm which borders the Garatau 282KT farm is owned by Angloplats and ARM.





A variety of studies for a mine development was commissioned by NKP back in 2009. It appears that these studies were sub contracted by MSA Group to a number of specialist consultants. Some of the draft reports that I have accessed include:

CONCLUSION

There are rumors that a JV deal is possibly underway with Angloplats and ARM. After my reading of the above this scenario has much merit.

Why has there been no confirmation of discussions from these all three companies?


In my opinion must be due to confidentiality clauses.
