From the Mercedes press release..

Mercedes engineers worked with California-based artificial-intelligence developer BrainChip to create systems based on the company’s Akida hardware and software.

Brainchip Studio, is the software version, pre AKIDA.

Although that commercialisation attempt, was unsuccessful, I've always felt that it would find use and acceptance, riding on AKIDAs coattails.

As these implementations always take time, it could be ready to come to fruition, we just don't know.

But I agree, that we should all check the dates of any articles about Brainchip, as the internet is being flooded with them.
