My original response was really to the comment to another poster who was calling mickey mouse status on EOS not having a turret contract locked away so I guess our conversation got crossed a bit.

I agree with you that the frustration with EOSs customer base is that we ultimately deal with Governments with all that involves, including political risk. The Australian government in particular as seen in the zig zagging nature of Defence policy.

The near term pipeline for established products is my investment case (eg I think the big opportunity is Anti Drone). But in terms of the T2000 turret, I think EOS must pick and choose. Given the Redback was presented to Government with the EOS T2000 and Elbit turret (Team Redback Plan To Demonstrate T2000 Turret During The Australian Land 400 Phase 3 RMA - MilitaryLeak) the former CEOs claims of $1bn revenue needs to be taken with a truckload of salt imo given his track record of promisng the moon. It was always subject to customer requirements and final negotiations with Hanwha.

Reducing an order down to 129 means EOS needs to run the numbers and make sure the profit margin is there and the capex sustainable to build a new product. It also wouldnt surprise me if the Australian government just went with the Elbit turret (which I would think is cheaper).
