I believe the details in the first link aligns with existing knowledge. The T2000 turret has always been based on the Elbit design (see other articles related to the steel manufacturing etc coming from Australian company). Also with some Elbit active protection systems.
EOS's role in this is the "additional electro-optics systems" and RWS on the turret. This article and the Elbit announcement says nothing new; Hanwha was picked, and partners of Hanwha may stand to gain, which always included BOTH Elbit, EOS.
