That got my attention too, but surely not right as the same article mentioned the trials had the Slinger system mounted on the back of GMC Denali pick up trucks. Not cheap gear I'm sure but not $170m per unit, one can only dream.
I think one announcement said a contract for Ukraine was worth 120m but that announcement did not specify for how many. Does anyone know the approx value for say one Slinger ?
Also of interest is to look at the company's comments surrounding laser tech in this article below, in that they say they will focus on this area
