As we understand Hanwha presented two options for the turret- the Elbit MT-30 or the EOS T-2000, the T-200 essentially being the ELbit turret manufactured under license but reworked for EOS sensors and battlefield management and integration with the EOS RWS- with the EOS RWS to be fitted onto the Redback no matter what.

The key issue it seems is one of cost and whether they just take an off the shelf Elbit or have an Austrlaian modifed turret added on. The benefit being that for Hanwha it makes the Australian Industry content requirements that much higher if the EOS "turret" is used. So i take it to mean its all down to Australian Government and the order they have placed. Given the EOS turret seems a no brainer, to support high tech jobs in Australia, Im betting Australin government on Redback being fitted with the Elbit turret to save money so we can buy US nuclear submarines and UK frigates.
