This could be huge. As far as i was aware, Laser comms were planned for 2nd generation MEO satellites, in 2027 from memory. (this was mentioned in the last investor presentation this year). I have sent an email to Spacelink asking them for more information about what they mean by "accelerate".
If this can be included in the satellites launched in 2024 this will be awesome, putting Spacelink years ahead of any competitor.
