Comment 2 is straightforward, a clear message.
We're in a unique situation with the strategic $270b capability upgrade over the next decade. Capability deterrent to aggressive communist Chinese expansionism and the ability to conduct local R&D and manufacturing (in order to kickstart a post-COVID economic recovery). EOS has excellent prospects abroad in allied countries, but the current geopolitical and COVID ravaged environment also places EOS in an enviable position to capitilise over the coming years.

Dr Greene also hints at the possibility of EOS acquiring smaller specialists, to secure their IP and tech

Comment 1 certainly points toward the potential for acquisition
We were at $1b market cap just before COVID hit weren't we? Shares on offer vs SP at the time. I wouldn't rule out informal discussions with Defence Primes RE: take over, the strategic value of EOS is unquestionable. Given the unique strategic situation it currently finds itself (in particular, space and Defence over the next decade), I would like to think that they would shrug off an acquisition bid.

Federal Government would also influence any potential sovereign take-over. Hairy situation at the moment with the communists.
