Imho the decrease in short positions have something to do with Spacelink. Initially it looked like a very risky enterprise given the fact that an Australian half a billion mkt cap company was going to compete with U.S. companies 40 or 60 times their size. Spending money everyday, hiring people to do the job without any foreseeable income and on top of that a covid related cashflow problem. Far from saying that Spacelink is without risk I would like to point out that for me when time passes by Spacelink turns out to be a real player. I checked out people they have hired and also looking at the quality of employees they are still seeking ¨it seems the job requirements are very high¨. This cannot be a Ben Greene gamble. Backed by the Australian government and apparently also the U.S. government I dont think Spacelink will fail. They must have assurances from government level clients which they cannot disclose yet. I have seen scams before but this one does not tick that box.
