By the way, I think this IR technology may also become invaluable when aiming at a target for the same reason, I believe it may be able to show where the fall of shot is hitting without using trace projectiles, when the rounds hit an object it produces heat, in much the same way as it does when a cricket ball hits a bat where I first saw this tech in use, this change in heat is what is detected by the IR camera, I posted about the possibility of this type of detection being used in weaponry nearly two years ago now, not saying they listened though!
Perhaps they were already working on such a system?
