Goodwill died a while back... the occasional provision of some additional value still pleases.
AMP certainly took on a large task with AXA, yet AMP probably understands challenge so prefers not frighten us away.
Longer term, retain some confidence eventually value will grow and return.
Sort retirement of Peter Mason, may disrupt slightly until Simon McKeon's (previously with Macquarie) replacing settles.
Note: recently Warren Buffet missed his own goalposts {:-O
