Before going to the Anzac Day commemoration, I will have a shower using colgate-palmolive soap or which is owned by Unilever company (owned by FMCG in Great Britain). After the commemoration I will eat a Herbert Adams pie owned by Vesco foods Australia which in turn is owned by PAG private equity based in Hong Kong. Then I will further celebrate with a few beers produced by Carlton United (owned by Asahi breweries in Japan) For dinner I will have a steak produced by JBS which is owned by the Barista family in Brazil. (The family that has been accused of stand-over tactics and corruption in Brazil).
It is so wonderful to live in a country where the foreign investment review board is here to ensure that Australian vital industries are kept in Australian ownership in order to keep the AUD recirculating in our country, and to avoid too much concentration of our core industries in foreign ownership.
