Free Speech Is Under Attack on HotCopper
HotCopper should be a forum for business matters to be discussed freely without the threat of legal action by companies who fear dissenting voices on the way a company is managed.
The Sydney Morning Herald of September 8-9, 2012 quoted threatened legal action by certain companies which I believe is a form of censorship.
How shocking for shareholders to be gagged and not to be able to express their indignation if in their opinion it is warranted
Free speech is our most valued freedom. And this is why those in power always try to curtail this freedom.
As far Exco Resources (EXS) are concerned, I know how dissatisfied we all are with the paltry offer by SOL of 0.19 cents per share.
EXS is in the right place and heading in the right direction, and after some first-rate releases and hopefully with many more to come, we will receive a more realistic offer for our shares.
Just to quote the famous singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen:
"First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin."
