tony cunningham is familier with the format of hemscott.com , the leading uk bb , so wonder why hc has only gone halfway to emulating it ?
ön hemscott you click on a post and see it , as well as the headings of all the follow ups , which you can click on or ignore ; some are free standing as it were with 'nm' after to show there is no more to be read and to save opening needlessly ( this facility exists already on hc and is a huge improvement on the old hc , but not often used )
if only folk wd take the trouble to register on hemscott and chech it out they wd see the merits immediately . that is why in my very first post two yrs or so ago i criticised hc and got clobbered by good old loyal to hc seaking . but really it was like stepping from a bmw into a baby fiat .
of course the problem may be one of software or finances , but if not , then there is no excuse for a second class board when it could be a first class one .
apart from all this , there is still too much clutter , and lines and repetetive dates and so on and so forth , but one may be pissing into the wind to raise it all again , as there is no feedback from hc on all the suggestions put to it since the new format ! .
