I am feeling pretty stupid about this but I really do need to appeal to my fellow shareholders in CTP for some guidance.
Where can a fella find the user manual for HotCopper? I need to know how to upload an image to a post and I just cannot figure out how to do it myself!
Background: often I have wanted to include an image as part of a post; for example, a map – but it could be a graph, a Google Earth image, a photograph or whatever. I just cannot work out how it is done.
The editing menu in the message screen offers an "insert" command. However when you click that command you get asked for a URL. The images that I want to upload are usually part of the stuff that I've already saved on my computer. I can't work out how to allocate a URL to that sort of material.
Is it required that a person needs to go to the original source? I have tried that (when I could remember where I found it) but that didn't work either. It wanted to upload the whole of the original work covered by the general URL for the document source.
So I have been trying to find a help screen in HotCopper. I cannot find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
