"making trades that might be adjusted later at my expense"
Can't recall that ever happening, eventhough it may have.
Anyhow enough already. It's been like this for 3 years.
It is not a trading halt loophole, a stock can make an ann, of any sorts,
then it is up to players to decide if they wish to buy or not.
I'll give you one more example, then that's it for me.
No more replies from me, too repetitive and time consuming.
A stock closes at 50 cents, doesn't trade 'till 10:29 and price
shoots up to $1.00 you can pay the $1, but the rest of us will accept
the 50 cent price.
Seems you haven't played the game before, there is "no trading halt loophole",
any more than there is an ann. loophole.
Whatever the price is, at 10:10, is what it is bought at, or conversely sold at.
A morning sell goes through at 10:31, at the 10:10 price.
Like wise it can trade at $50 all day long, but if the price at closing auction
is $3, you get $3 if you sell at that time.
"Unless you know otherwise, a TH/suspension seems to be the only means to buy stock below its daily trading range and hence is ultimately THE KEY to winning this competition"
Rubbish. I won recently and NONE of them were anywhere near a T'/H.
I think I even bought the same stock twice in that month, can't remember.
"THE KEY to winning this competition"
The key to winning is buying the right stock, at the right time,
and holding or selling at the right time.
HZR & BGS were both good buys today. Both made 14% plus gains.
Didn't come "off a T/H".
