The stocks you mentioned, weren't in a T/H, and were available to be bought

at the pre 10:10 a.m. price, just like ANY other stock is.

BGS for example, was in a T/H at the start of the month,

but was still "selling". Shouldn't, (realistically), sell until out of T/H.

Saw another as well, can't remember which.

    ## Speaking of.. LNG, anybody who bought TODAY, would have paid 51.5 cents,

even though it OPENED at 52.5 and went up to 53.5 before 10:10. Now well in the red.

There is a big difference between WAS in a trading halt, and IS in a trading halt.

Also any stock may OPEN at 25 cents, drop to 21 cents, before 10:10,

and be at 30 cents at 10:31 when the buy goes through.

We get the last pre 10:10 price, which in this case would be 21 cents.

That's how it goes at the moment.

"the purchase price needs to reflect the price on open after the TH. Currently it seems you can purchase stocks coming out of a TH for the price they were when first halted (see MNS yesterday and HZR earlier this week)."

I don't use Iress, (to double check), but the reason the shares are being purchased

at the prices when they were halted, is because NO TRADES went through

    before 10:10 a.m.

When a stock comes out of a T/H we pay the opening price, may be up 20%,

or if it doesn't trade until 10:29, we pay the price at T/H.

    That's the way it goes.
    ..............................................................................................................

    "the illegitimate profits compound" ???

Can't be illegitimate if stock is NOT in a trading halt at time of purchase.

"purchase price needs to reflect the price on open"

It does, up until 10:09:59 ??

After that time, price could be anywhere !

I think MMJ opened at 34 cents yesterday, but HC trades went through at 35 cents.

If a stock IS NOT in a T/H at 10:00 a.m. there is no problem.

(Font is all messed up). Sorry people.
