HotCopper on a suicide mission ?

HotCopper provides a free venue for investors to have meaningful discussions about market sentiments, the prospects of particular stock etc.
No one can provide free infrastructure and work for nothing.
HotCopper sells advertising to gain revenue. All well and good.
Of recent times the standard of postings have fallen dramatically and many good posters are leaving HC.
The decent core of those remaining are unhappy and so is Pat/HC.
Now what will happen to HotCopper if one really disgruntled poster or lurker or shareholder of one of the advertising companies, who is fed up with profanities, personal abuse etc. takes this to the executives / board members of say for example Westpac (who is a sponsor of HC).
One can imagine that a possible complaint could go along these lines :
"As long as you (the advertiser) are associated with and support these kinds of activities we are withdrawing from doing business with you (the advertising company)."
Where would this leave HotCopper ??
Out of business perhaps.
HotCopper must deal with these issues post haste.
