I don’t agree totally with the personal responsibility part!

Moderator’s are busy people and it appears they mainly rely on posters selecting the category of moderation after a poster has being dobbed in!
I don’t think they have time to double check the source and it easier to rubber stamp the whinging poster assessment.

Disgruntled posters who have aims to prevent a certain poster submitting further posts, can gang up on a particular issue, generally usually look for subtle disguised profanity as example, to get a poster suspended.
The number of moderation is the main deterrent not the validity of the content!

Have much profanity have u came across and in many cases these poster haven’t been moderated.
A lot of profanity goes on, on HC!

I rarely use disguised profanity and generally they’re terms that doesn’t cause offence too people.

This allow certain posters to gang up on a touchy thread to curb free speech!
Especially newer info coming out about past group of people etc.

U know my favourite topics and it appears more academics are showing interest since about 2015 in this poorly researched period.
