A Rose Bay man who triggered a COVID-19 lockdown in Byron Bay has been charged with
breaching NSW's public health order, and is now the most hated man in NSW.
Zoran Radovanovic, 52, is
receiving treatment for the Delta strain of the virus at Lismore Base Hospital. His views are so identical to the illegal actions at least one regular poster has been advocating here, that the question has to be asked... Anyone stopped posting the last couple of days?
Radovanovic believed the pandemic to be a SCAMDEMIC, broke lockdown, disobeyed police and health directives, refused to use QR codes or face masks ("face nappies"), infected his family and others, refused to cooperate with contact tracers, allegedly ranted at police as "Nazis" and the government "communists", and was reported to have attempted to escape the hospital after being so sick that he had been brought there in an ambulance.
For those minimising the risks of COVID-19 and advocating Australians break the law, this is a terrific opportunity to see the consequences of what you are proposing:
- COVID-19 is real and dangerous. That's why Radovanovic was taken to hospital in an ambulance. He could have died.
- Personal freedom didn't work so well for Radovanovic - he's now imprisoned in hospital then likely a prison cell until court.
- The Byron, Richmond Valley, Lismore and Ballina local government areas were plunged into a week-long lockdown on Monday because of his actions.
- Jobs will be lost, businesses close and tens of millions of dollars gouged from the Australian economy because of Radovanovic.
- The cost to the NSW and Federal government will run to hundreds of millions of dollars (health/police/courts/unemployment assistance/industry assistance etc.), all due to the decision of one man who did "research" on the internet and thought COVID-19 was a SCAMDEMIC, then went out and did what is irresponsibly advocated by some on HotCopper each day.
Obey the law. Obey health directives. Don't be like
the criminal Zoran Radovanovic.
