Thanks, nice win and has the potential for better. Couple of things Tony Gollan will need to work on with him. Has a habit of slightly missing the start - only minor yesterday but cost him being behind the leaders instead of three back the rail and in an awkward spot for a while. Worse issue is the habit of running in - gave one a severe clip yesterday and that caused interference to one further inside and then even when clear of those ran in considerably into the inferior ground - had plenty on them yesterday so no drama but doubt he can do that in higher grade and get away with it.

Highly likely he will go to the paddock now with an eye to better races toward the end of the winter carnival - choices are the Eyeliner, Ramornie or perhaps Glasshouse back at Caloundra. Expect he will only have a shortish preparation then and spell ahead of summer racing in Brisbane, plenty of 1200/1350 listed G3 races then that we hope will be right in his sights then - very similar to Rippa except that he handles Eagle Farm/Caloundra better
