You touched on white label in your last post. That was an issue I looked at a long time ago
In the first web Q&A Gary was asked about the "Syntonic" brand and whether we were simply going to be a company who stayed in the background doing the work for the big boys and got a cut of the revenue Tata style from everyone, or establish our own public brand that was recognisable. At the time he said we would do both, maybe you need to ask the question again & see if the landscape has changed.
If Freeway can't achieve good user retention rates & isn't making good income, then why are the Telco's going to white label the product?
They need to be making significant money from it to be worth all the time and effort they need to put in to run it & market it. Otherwise it makes no business sense to them at all.
I've done my basic revenue projections, the only bit I still want to factor in now is the losses that occurred from the stealing or gaming that took place in India.
How is Syntonic going to show them in the quarterly report?
If they say nothing and just try & pass things off as if nothing happened, then its going to affect the figures somewhere which will raise question marks over the business model. I just hope they admit the issue occurred & state the figure separately, so everyone can see what would have occurred in a normal quarter.
