I actually find the green thing embarrassing and will often reduce my post in order to not have it LOL You have also given me a tap on the shoulder too, in that ill think before press the post button meaning less meaningless posts.
Good luck with the "thumbs" im not sure they will ever work as certain threads will be bearish and bullish and people will act no matter how good the post.
Can I throw this into the mix though. Somehow a recommendation forum be started and the criteria for posting would be as follows, and in doing so the 1 liners would be discouraged as without the correct data the post isnt accepted.
- Trade Thoughts - Fundamental view ( or if none clearly state its a TAonly) - Technical View ( or if not clearly state its FA) - All data provide suport and resistance lines and the poster display suitable risk parameters.
Im sure there would be some willing participants to set up a draft report sheet
