re: hotcopper, when did in start??????? I remember selling 386 Compaq lite SX25 laptops for $240.

I used to charge more for the ones I installed maths co-processers in about $20 for the DX chip.

I fell in love with 286's when I played Dune 2 with a soundblaster.

My 1st experience with the internet was when BBS boards well all the rage.

I knew the dotcom boom was crap because of being heavily involved with industry.

Fundamentals never added up with the dot com boom.

The resource boom looks much, much better.
