Make up your minds lol !

Firstly, I think the trial burn will last a minimum 6 mths. However, there is probably a powerful case to keep it ticking over until the Qld Govt formalises its UCG commercialisation policy. On the other hand, there need only be ministerial aproval to start a second trial burn at Wandoan to progress the methanation JV and much of the Kingaroy trial burn equipment could be utilised there.

Now back to the MOU/JV issue. I think announced MOUs/JVs are a thick paned window looking into the Boardroom ... you can see the whiteboard but you cant hear what they are saying ... it surely gives the wider investment community some idea of their thinking and plans, contingent of course on a successful Kingaroy burn.

I really like the leap forward and longer term thinking that the Wandoan JV represents ... there will probably be a minimum 5 yrs of research and testing required with methanation before commitment to a commercial scale project. The timing is perfect to occupy the Company's attention once Kingaroy 200MW has been commissioned and other similar power station projects are in progress.

Ditto I like the China/Mongolia MOU, if for no other reason than I know the Chinese are serious and focussed on smarter, scalable energy solutions ... unlike our polititians who thus far are squandering the head start LNC, CXY and CNX have given Australia.

That the Pakistan MOU resides with Cougar UK pleases me no end. India could well fire up with Cougar UK after the successful Kingaroy burn.

Without announced MOUs/JVs, we'd surely be worried we had a Board of technocrats focussed only the burn and with no eye for the future ... the more MOUs/JVs the better imo ... bring em on!
