Sundance in Funding Talks for $3.3 Billion Ore Mine (Update1) Share | Email | Print | A A A

July 27 (Bloomberg) -- Sundance Resources Ltd., seeking a partner and funding for a $3.3 billion iron-ore project in Cameroon, said talks with potential investors are progressing and some groups have visited the proposed mine site.
Talks are continuing “with selected international parties with potential interest in investment, construction, product off-take and/or financing” for the project, Perth-based Sundance said today in a statement to the Australian stock exchange. Sundance has also received proposals from investment banks to arrange finance with a selected partner, it said.
Sundance rose 19 percent to 18.5 cents at the 4:10 p.m. Sydney time close on the exchange.
