Per today's AFR... "Myer's incoming chairman Garry Hounsell has sent a message to veteran retailer-turned activist investor Solomon Lew, saying he won't allow any single shareholder to call the shots at Australia's largest department store chain"
When the shareholder has more experience and a proven track record in the retail sphere and the board have sod all, it may be best to be less divisive and have a little more clarity that you and your board are more than a little ordinary. I'd be happy to back Sol to block Hounsell and start clearing the board if he wants my votes. We can't do any worse......
