I reckon oz will be a legacy location for the firm in the future If we are divesting from oz assets and focusing to morph into a specialist African e&p player, then there is only one place to be - London All the major financial, technical and deal-making is centred there. At any one time you have a confluence of limitless potential investors - middle east sovereign wealth funds,, Indian and chinese players plus US instos trying to achieve better than FED+50bps - very low hurdle! Reckon getting with a top rate uk broker is the only way forward and also exit will be easier to engineer if the London market knows you. $500-700mill you start popping up on a lot of mini-major and national oil co's radars. I think oz mkt won't do us any greater favours. All due respects to everyone.
