My boss had his rental property on the market for three months at what seemed like reasonable price $330000 for 4 bed, great condition, location, in Hervey Bay. not one offer. He talked to a RE mate who has now said no Capital gains for many many years up this way. this place was booming when we arrived 5 years ago, but prices now heading back to levels seen before we arrived, Have looked at buying but love the freedom of renting and for $320 per week we live in a resort style appartment right on the water.
