Simpleton, I agree with your statement, however your argument is flawed.
BIS quote "HOUSE prices across the nation", now that's every house in every town that is sold.
You want to compare that to the ASX 50, ie the fifty best Australian companies.
I think if you are allow the 50 best property investors in Australia to buy an IP each, they will do ok too.
The real message is diversification still works.
And residential property investors rarely get a margin call without reasonable notice.
