The point of entry to property means you have instantly lost money on your investment, stamps & selling fees if you needed to sell would send many backwards, property investing is not like it once was, the uneducated lingering positivity associated with it is dangerous. I get where you’re coming from but it’s an individual choice to go down the gambling path you associate with the stock market, buying a property is not an effective method of deterrence, nor should it be.
