Sometimes it pays to listen and learn and not pretend you are a "know everything" type of person.

Sure, Australian property prices have held up well. Why? Well lots of foreign investment me thinks.

What will happen moving forward????? Who knows, there could be a correction on the horizon but that will depend on many factors, most of which are pointing negative right now.

Who would like to buy from me a house in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne on 9 times average wages? I'm talking "average" home. You know, 3/4 bedrooms 700 metre block in need of reno including new roof, bathrooms, kitchen and flooring. Probably also needs a garden make-over.

The idea of aspiring to owning a brown dog box in the outer suburbs on Melbourne and being liable to a mortgage for eternity really does make me realise how lucky I am to have the foresight to go looking elsewhere in Australia for a home and lifestyle.

Sheeples, you really don't need to mortgage your life to have a roof over your head. Go outside of Melbourne and Sydney and see for yourself.
