Kirk, I would have said the same as inimitable..."Thank you" & taken it.....after careful consideration of my ability to repay. No one is saying that those who took advantage were ALL irresponsible.......but SOME were, mate. A significant number of those encountered mortgage stress/defaults this year........not very long after the fact, is it? They obviously didnt do their homework. You did well, kirk, and are obviously coping..... not all others are. No one is bagging those who were responsible, in fact no one is bagging those who are struggling,just pitying them for their plight....but they still remain statistical figures and will be monitored & reported on for that reason.
