    no idea what the solution is - but obviously not enough houses available for rent, and housing getting too expensive. donkey years ago, watso had a a rental property, but would never waste his time again, so i suppose that watso is not going to provide the solution (too expensive to buy a rental property anyway)

    an article in the west this morning made comment about western australia missing out on billions of dollars, and jobs, because of the uranium ban. it seems that it is a bit hard to get labour, as it is - and that would mean importing workers on the 457 visa - which of course puts pressure on the rental market - i have no idea, to what extent this is a factor - but it could be .

    company profits booming, but people at the bottom get working conditions that are less and less favourable, and coupled with rising rents etc etc - means that a lot of people are missing out on the so called boom
