Yes, many countries have done that throughout history, NATO is definitely not my friend either, but to have Russia behave in that way in Europe in this day and age, when there are millions of refugees (war refugees and now climate refugees from Africa) on its borders, trying to get into Europe, being supported by Europe (and not by Russia or any of the other former Communist countries) -
is - and normal words fail me -

is horrendous and despicable and anyone trying to defend this is in my book either totally unaware of what really goes on in the world when there is a real war (I have been a small child in a real war) - or just plain wicked and blood-thirsty.

No country likes a hostile government on it's border, let alone one requesting aid from foreign major powers or threatening to arm with nuclear weapons.

There's no innocents here, President Zelensky has brought the ruin of his country upon himself by spitting in his neighbours face and provoked a fight. Putin is no hero, he didn't have to invade to defuse this situation, but here we are on the verge of nuclear war.

I suppose Taurisk you can talk about how we are all heroes as the nukes go off for defending Ukraine. I don't see heroes and villains, I see incompetence from the west leading us straight into a disaster.

I don't care if you think Putin is a bad guy and morally bankrupt. He doesn't perceive himself that way and he has a finger on the trigger of nuclear war. I wish the USA had a President Kennedy again instead of President Biden, Kennedy saw the big picture and was a man of morals. Biden is a hopeless incompetent who is provoking nuclear war on his own citizens. Trump would defuse the situation better and he's a imbecile, but anyone who doesn't provoke nuclear war at this point is a step in the right direction.

Instead we are going to wipe out a few billion people because Ukraine didn't like Russia. What a hopelessly grim situation our incompetent spoilt leaders are getting us into.
