Its great to talk about migration, but dont forget migration is not good enough if they dont build business and are only looking to get employed.
Just have a look how long the main construction project up north are left in time, not long to go, with the continued high interest rates, no new major project is on the drawing board.
In 2 years there will be heavy unemployment and hence a massive price reduction in property prices, the outer suburbs have already suffered badly, the inner will the hardest hit.
Certain suburbs are now owned by migrants where locals cant afford them.Remember the long term unemployment we have had in this state, where there hadnt been a construction job anywhere, thousands applied for one job, this was only 5yrs ago. Its a boom bust town, and those who have lived through the cycles have prepared for the next one, and we are all saying it will be the worst ever. Its grown to quick and it will crash hard.
Only those who have lived through them, I remember those tough times can see the writting on the wall.
