Hehe, Investmentidiot... I've seen some pessimists in my time, but you take the cake.. Go and have a beer or two, the world is not about to end...

The price of buying in Sydney is the same or less than it was 5 years ago. That means (accept for interest rates) it's easier to buy property.. Why wasn't all this doom and gloom around 5 years ago? That's because people had a different perspective on property and the stock market was the doom and gloom investment (just before the Iraq war), and now because the stock market has had a good run everyone thinks it's the better investment.

And Investmentidiot, unemployment is not up, it's the lowest in 30 years...
