It's all driven by the banks and the banks biggest shareholders ( who are the US bank shareholders) there's not much to lend to in Australia which is why our big banks are 70% exposed to residential morguages so they just keep pumping the bubble bigger and they know scomo and his mates will bail them out with tax payers money should anything happen.

Robbing the many to benefit the few and they get a nice obedient debt slave population to keep the country going.
