    passive -your original post....the bears will not relate to an income per house of $124,000

    so lets use the census figures....$1234 per week median wage...equates to $64144 pa....so lets use that figure as the basis...7 times is around $450,000 for a house...

    now that is more like it, for a FHB....

    in the news somewhere today...the age or smh
    fairfax news are the biggest whingers on house prices...they gave examples of 4 recent FHB and the grants and stamp duty offers...
    they paid between $550k to $650 k with twins paying $900,000
    are they mad ? where did they find this mob....why would they pay much higher prices than the median average house price ???

    I would say that mob are not the norm.....
    but our bears are looking for a 50% discount of the median or 450-500k price bracket....like $200k for their houses, australia wide...

    I really dont like their chances of snagging anything much under $400 in the outer suburbs...or regional areas
