Same story in eastern Melbourne areas where there is a shortage of land for subdivision compliments of Greg Hunts late father and Rupert Hamer both Greenie Liberals who decided to rezone many farms into Green Wedge Zones when they were in government during 1970's well before the Greens Party was created.
There is no more farm land for subdivision and the number of house lots are reducing with apartment subdivisions gobbling up the current supply. When supply drops , population increasing usually results in higher prices so bank loans are safer.
