Westpac is a significant outlier!!! This is what I have been posting about. Their loan book is completely different to the other big 4. They quality of their loan book has serious issues.
This has NOTHING to do with CDO's. The comparison to the American housing collapse is the similar levels of household debt.
It has everything to do with the quality of WBC loan book, high debt levels and falling property prices.
