When these 'baby boomers' go to heaven....their estates will be inherited by Gen X'ers who will have even more disposable cash.....and many will want to move back into suburbs where they grew up.
The demand for anything inside 20km's of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will be strong imo.
I also see net migration coming back to previous levels within a couple of years.
As always, investment grade properties will do well long term....no matter what the macro market is doing.
Of course the junk stock in poorly located outer estates won't do as well, but that's not investment grade, and not where the pros are buying.
