For what’s its worth… I own a 3 bed semi in Newtown, I follow the local market as far as to say I go to open houses in the area and auctions when I have some spare time just out of general interest. Up to 6-9 months ago price I found most places were selling at decent prices, i.e. more than I would pay and at or close to the higher end prices I have seen in the area for comparable properties. Last 6 months, big change, most are passed in on Vendor bids, some are negotiated post auction but there is a definite change in purchaser sentiment which most posters here are also experiencing.
Sentiment: None, I am not a sell cause I own my house for more than financial reasons, I wouldn't buy at the moment either though.
