Oh my, I have read some idiotic comments. This really isn't a serious debate, it's as if the investors are to give an education to the unwilling renters.
There will be no major drop in the property market, Australian incomes are far to high for that.
Eventually every opposed renter on these forums will change there perspective when they scratch a deposit together for their own home.
Be warned renters, if there were a major drop your ability to buy would be even further diminished. Meaning you would be in a worse position. Imagine that a 50% drop as an example that I hear over and over here and you still couldn't afford a house.
